I love Etsy, and everything that goes into hand-made things, and I love giving my business to someone personal instead of big department stores. My mom has always sewn and made crafts with me and for me. And I can appreciate the care and detail of such things as are sold at this great online place for selling them. Rachael, whose Etsy shop is called RLM Designs, has been making jewelry and crafts for friends and family for years, and everyone told her she should go public with her items, so she found Etsy, and it clicked. She loves making custom orders and adding to the items in her store. She is constantly working on new ideas and crafts. It’s amazing how she finds the time to create, since she’s a college student and a volunteer firefighter!

Ladybugs are one of my favorite things nowadays, mostly because Laynie’s nickname in our household is “Layniebug.” I told Rachael I loved her green ladybug earrings, and she said I could try them out in exchange for a review. I was surprised when I received a pair of silver ones in the mail as well! I have to say, with green being my favorite color, the green ones are my favorites, but I get to wear the silver ones almost every day because they match everything! The hooks are large and comfortable, and they don’t fall out of my ears like some shorter hooks do. They’re very well made, too – I’m not worried at all about them breaking or falling apart. Rachael has taken the time to secure the beads and wires very well, and they stand up well to rough-housing with a 3 year old during the day! Laynie likes my ladybugs too!
